Well, the drought is over and it?s finally time for a fresh episode of Army Wives, this one airing tonight (September 7) and called ?Great Expectations.?
I won?t spoil anything for those who still haven?t watched the previous episode ?Mothers and Wives,? so I?ll just describe its ending by noting that Claudia Joy?s mother Charlotte (Marsha Mason) shows up for a surprise visit and drops a huge bomb on her daughter when they reason why is revealed.
The upcoming episode will continue that plotline when Claudia Joy?s father, played by Randall Brotherhood?s Len Cariou, shows up unexpectedly, as well. Elsewhere, the wives throws a baby shower for Joan and Roland, while Denise and Frank begin marriage counseling and Trevor receives bad news about a soldier in Iraq he knows.
The sneak peek after the jump shows Roxy, Claudia Joy, Pamela, and Denise enjoying a little downtime at Betty?s Bar & Grill, until Pamela receives a shock that?s part of a troubling development.
Army Wives airs Sundays on Lifetime at 10pm EST.
