Andre Romelle Young Jr., the son of rapper of Dr. Dre, passed away on Saturday morning at his Californian home. Andre partied with friends on Friday night and returned home in the early hours of Saturday morning. His mother found him unresponsive later that morning and called the paramedics. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
While an autopsy has been conducted, the Los Angeles Coroner?s Office is waiting on toxicology reports before determining the cause of death.
“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son André Young Jr. Please respect his family?s grief and privacy at this time,” the singer said in a statement.
