Optimal metabolism (OM) is determined by how well your body uses the raw materials you consume. ?Raw materials? are the things you put in your mouth, like, bananas, oils, chocolates, cherries, chips, etc... Surprisingly enough, metabolism plays a huge role in aging and if you want to age gracefully, you want to make sure your metabolism is at an optimal level ? not just O.K for your age.

Metabolism is a word that's used to describe all the chemical reactions going on in your body, the signals that are going on throughout your body, and the generation of energy. That's a lot more than you thought, right?
There are two major factors in the aging process
Anabolic metabolism ? your body's natural ability to repair-rebuild-restore itself Catabolic metabolism ? the damaging force that puts you on your death bed in your 70's.
It is important to work on increasing anabolic metabolism and reducing catabolic metabolism because damage is cumulative, which means the older you get, the faster you age.
What happens to the body when you eat SADly (Standard American Diet)
Imagine finding the most beautiful property and going out to the nearest discount Depot and buying the cheapest raw materials ? wood, windows, accessories, etc... and building a house with it. Would the house last?? Of course not! Unlike you're house, your car and other possessions, you can't trade your body in for a new one! If the raw materials for the body are highly processed and unhealthily junk, then, the body isn't going to last very long because it can not repair and rebuild itself effectively enough to keep itself working at an optimal level. Think about it, would you give a child half the things most people put in their mouths? No! Why? Because it can be damaging to the infants health and development. The same goes for you, if a 5 year old shouldn't eat it, neither should you. Our bodies are continually repairing and renewing themselves, therefore, we must provide the best possible materials for effective renewal.

A diet designed to enhance and improve your body at a cellular level is incredibly important for anabolic repair. Believe it or not, your body requires hundreds of nutrients for the replacement of 300 billions cells each day. These bionutritional foods are key to building a high-quality body.
Water is just as important as the air we breath and the food we eat. Drinking an adequate amount of water daily is essential for the function of your brain, body, and skin. Getting water from the city (faucet) means you're at the mercy of the city in terms of the water's purification because of chlorine use. Have control over the water you consume. I would recommend buying a purification system. Should I buy bottled water? Frankly, the water in some of those bottles are questionable... I'd choose a company wisely.
