Taco Bell Big Bell Box

On the menu for dinner last night: junk food. Amount of food: a lot. Price: cheap!

Earlier this week, my computer died. I mourned it. It was old and it had worked its butt off for a long time. Angie and Scott were over for a fun meal and some Rock Band. When all of the sudden we heard POP! Then I smelled some smoke. I had been thinking about trying an Apple for a while, hearing lots of good things from many friends. So after work, Jessica, Ice, and I walked over to the West 14th Street Apple store. After wasting over an hour of our time, we left empty handed when our Mac Genius (who, granted, was a super nice guy) realized that the equipment would be about $120 more expensive than buying on the web site and that it would not be ready immediately (at least 2-4 hours of waiting). I gave up and went home to order it online.

After the hassle, and because Jessica went to meet Chrissy for dinner, I got lazy for dinner. But I was hungry. What's a lazy, hungry dude to do? Go to Taco Bell (because it's across the street). I spied The Big Bell Box meal on the menu and went for it. All the marketing was focused on how HUGE it was.

In the past I've heard from various fast food joints promising big things, but failing miserably. Subway delivered with their ... but since then I've gone back and it has shrunk. This product did not fail to deliver. It was a lot of food!

The box included a Volcano Taco, which as the name suggests was decently spicy. It also included a Crunchwrap Supreme; I've had that before and it's a clear winner -- crispy and smooth. It also had a full Burrito Supreme. Wow, it weighed almost a pound. Then it had a large (32 ounce) drink, I got Orange Soda, a treat I've gone a long time without. And then it had a bag of Churro-like "Twists". They were sweet, crisp, airy, and delicious.

Look at all that food! Man, I was stuffed. I saved some of the Cinnamon Twists for Jessica, thinking that fast food might finally impress her, but alas, she hated them.

How much do you think this huge pile of food was? $6. If your jaw is dropping, so was mine!
All in all, it was Taco Bell. If you like Taco Bell you'll love this, go get it.
