Current state at 15 weeks
I can’t even begin to tell how happy I am with the results!
Lately a lot of people have been telling me how good my skin is looking, but yesterday I got the first ‘I don’t understand why you’re going to all these treatments… your skin looks fine to me!’. I took as the next step in my recovery, and the first sign to my skin actually clearing back to normal.
I just had my 8th microdermabrasion last night and I’m absolutely thrilled! My skin has been looking better and better for the last few weeks, but - as always - the microderm made a massive difference. Apart from the still present scarring my skin is essentially clear!
I’ve got my next microderm in three weeks and my doctor promised to add in a session of light therapy to hasten the healing of the remaining scarring.
CHANGES TO TREATMENT:
We’re heading to summer and the days are warming up, so I’m increasing the use of my ASAP exfoliating scrub to three times a week and replacing my moisturiser with the Reflect Rx [SPF30] sunscreen.
By the way, I discovered that the sunscreen works as a perfect base under the mineral makeup - the foundation sets perfectly even! Also, the concealer appears to cover much better when I’m wearing the Reflect Rx instead of my usual moisturiser.
