We received a question from one of our readers that I would like to respond to:
Q: I have been noticing that my eyes tend to dry out during the day. Is there anything I can do for it?
A: There could be a few reasons for your dry eyes. I will cover them below:
- Dips in estrogen can reduce secretions in many parts of the body, the eyes included. This could be a menopause symptom or perimenopause symptom and you should try a natural balancing cream, which will keep your estrogen leveled. We recommend PhytoProlief and you can find it at www.ihd.myarbonne.com.
- If you work at a computer during the day, try turning away from it for a few minutes several times during the day and blink a few times. We tend to keep our eyes open when reading intensively, which causes the tear film to evaporate.
- It may be that you just need to lubricate your eyes with eyedrops, however, if you use drops more than 4 times per day make sure to choose one that is preservative-free or the preservative might dry your eyes out even more.
