Aging is a normal part of life, and we´re living longer and longer. With today´s medical advances, many adults are celebrating good health along with longevity. Aging is genetically determined and environmentally modulated. In a study of longevity in the adult fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster, we found that five independent P-element insertional mutations in a single gene resulted in a near doubling of the average adult life-span without a decline in fertility or physical activity. Aging is then the increase in our current mortality rate as time goes by and we become more damaged. Aging research is likely to be the least expensive path to preventing and curing many diseases of aging. Aging takes a toll on your ability to use this sugar from your blood stream. Other factors include increased body fat, inactivity, and a diet high in fat. Aging is a global problem. It is also clearly a domestic problem for the developed countries. Aging and food are related. Do you know that foods play an important role in helping to fight the signs of aging. Aging will press hard against rural areas which may need to attract polluting industries in order to gain money that can be used to subsidize elderly populations. The young have moved to the coasts where economic opportunities exist. Aging can be done gracefully with these skin care products. Aging is sometimes viewed as a natural process that brings forth a feeling of impending doom. This is not surprising since the start of aging opens up the possibility of acquiring aging-related diseases; and consequently, death. Aging also reminds me that eventually, we're all headed to die, every one of us. And though I can claim victory over death through what Jesus did for us on the cross, I wonder if I'm ever ready for that, not experiencing, not seeing for myself what lies beyond the grave. Aging itself isn't so bad-it's the signs of aging that get to us the most. No one wants to be reminded of how old they are by the appearance of crow's feet, sagging skin, wrinkles, and other unsightly signs of the passing years. Aging clients who grew up in the shadow of the Great Depression are often loath to spend money on a seeming luxury. Other times, seniors don't want someone poking around their homes. Aging women face many changes mentally, physically, and emotionally. Many of these changes offer women new opportunities in life and a new outlook. Aging gracefully is as important to our companions as it is to us. Knowing what is normal and what is a potential problem can help us maintain a very high quality of life for our senior friends.
