I am flipping the channels and watching the election coverage when I decide I cannot stand my make up on any longer!!
I go into the bathroom, pull my hair back and wash my make up off. As I pat my face dry, I'm looking at my lovely new blemishes. Great, I'm darn near 28 (two week people!!) how am I getting these now!?! Damn stress. Then something flashes and catches my eye. Looking a little closer, and YEP! There they are...SILVER/GRAY HAIR! WTF?! I'm only 27 (okay, given, like I said, I'll be 28 in like two weeks, but still!!)! How is this possible!? I hadn't noticed them before because I dye my hair about every month. Well, I haven't done my color in about 2 1/2 to 3 months. YIPES! I have about 2 inches of silver showing. And there's quite a bit.
I guess I should be happy it's a pretty silver white color...I plucked two of them out to study. I have a bunch right where I part my hair when I wear bangs. The strands started at the root silver and then about two inches down has a pretty golden brown that I put on it last time. Very blunt transition!!
I don't want to be so silver now, but maybe in the future, when I'm 40-ish, I won't mind so much. Ugh. This is so frustrating. Makes me realize I'm an older first time mommy too. I will be 46 when Baby Girl graduates HIGH SCHOOL!! And she's my first child. We want at least, maybe two more. I'm going to be so old...
