Does a specific acne treatment work or not? There is a common complaint between acne sufferers that they get frustrated by using a certain acne treatment that does not seem to work.
Even if a treatment seems to be working for your friend, it doesn't mean that it is the best treatment for you.
1. Only use medication that is advised for your skin type.
Your skin type makes a big difference when choosing what acne products you should use. Your skin might be oily or sensitive, and this means you can't use the first product you lay your eyes on.
There are many acne medications and some products that contain a lot of chemicals. They are supposed to work for severe cases of acne. If you are only experiencing mild outbreaks and start using this type of product, you can cause even more irritation on you skin, something you want to avoid.
Make it a habit to always read the caution labels before you start using this kind of product.
2. Feed your skin with wonder vitamins
Vitamin C works wonders for your skin, so eat and drink foods and juices that are high in vitamin C. Our bodies don't store these vitamins, so you need to take in a sufficient amount.
If we drink a glass of juice in the afternoon for example, by the evening that source of vitamin would now be gone from our system. Therefore try to take in some form of vitamin C at least three times a day and it will help to repair the skin and maintain collagen.
3. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a natural medicine that is very effective in the treatment of acne. It has a lot of medicinal qualities and is a miracle for many skin irritations. It can also be very effective in the removal of acne scars. If you use Aloe Vera in the form of soaps you can reduce the risk of inflammation of your acne.
