...I admire your enthusiasm. I hear you down at 10th and Heather, pumping tunes and cheering. Those sure are a lot of cars you've convinced to honk in support of your efforts. The siren attached to the megaphone is especially good at drawing attention. This event will certainly focus thoughts and dollars on the plight of cancer patients and it will probably bring in a lot of the moola needed to fund research for better treatments.
That said, I kinda wish your racket wasn't distracting me from my work. At the lab. Doing cancer research.
Maybe next year we can have the "Weekend to End Breast Cancer (mimed cheering preferred)". That would be awesome.
(Honestly, doesn't anyone else think it's kinda funny that this event is scheduled to run right through the heart of the hospital/research area on the weekend right before CIHR has its grant deadlines? Very odd.)
