There's a lot i have to write about, but let me just share this important one. The song above is such a wonderful and inspiring song. Also not to forget that 15 popular female american singers lent their singing voice to it.
SU2C's team challenge to raise a certain amount of donations for cancer research culminated yesterday, September 5, 2008. I agree that collective effort is necessary to raise awareness, so i commend this program for achieving even just that -- although of course they've achieved more.
I hope we will all do our part -- through drives like the above (perhaps locally) as well as through personal health care and prevention. I've known family members of people close to me to have experienced such a tremendous disease and I'm always alarmed and worried that my own family might suffer next.
