I just watched The Graham Norton Show on BBC Kids. First, I really like British television shows. Second, why is this show on BBC Kids? It is not a kids show. Definitely not. But it is really good and if the only way I can see it is on BBC Kids, so be it.
Back to the topic at hand … plastic surgery. I watched the entire episode featuring Miriam Margolyes and Rupert Everett. I knew these were the guests because I checked the info onscreen. Miriam Margolyes is quite entertaining and tells great stories. I recognized her from Harry Potter. Did I mention the other guest? Even though I read his name, while I was watching the show I had absolutely no idea who he was. I kind of assumed that he was a British star that I just didn’t know. Bizarre. Then it occured to me … he has had horrible plastic surgery! It’s like Jennifer Grey. He went from handsome and interesting to blah. Why do they do this? Ugh. I understand plastic surgery to fix droopy eyelids that are obstructing vision and cleftlips which make eating difficult and tummy tucks for droopy skin after weightloss. However, why would somebody with absolutely nothing wrong with his face change it? Ugh.
