People have names. Often we hear them and think, oh that sounds pleasant, sweet or shy, perhaps a name makes us feel other things too. What's in a name? According to Shakespeare, a rose by any other name is still a rose.
My name is Emma which has it's basis in Old German. The original spelling was Imma or Amme. Depending on how you look at it. If you go by the spelling Imma being the original the name means Universal one. Very appropriate and fitting for a Goddess. I get to be Universal :) I do so love how names seem to meet with the people we are.
If one takes the name as having it's origin in Amme, the meaning is then nurse. I love being a kinky nurse so I suppose it's well deserved. Nurse's are also healers. I definitely enjoy helping to heal, sexual energy is one of the ways that humans do heal. It's very well known throughout the modern world. It's they reason we have practices such as tantric worship, or pagan rituals that involve Goddess worship. Ladies who practice sacred sexual arts are healers. We are nurses in a sens. BDSM is a sacred sexual art. You must really get into your pain or suffering as a masochist. It's like that ancient native American sun dances.
Most play is cathartic for people. Everyone wants to be cleansed. We all want to feel pure, whole, and clean again. It all becomes a rush of endorphines followed by an out of body experience.
