just 10 more days until my spinal fusion surgery!! i wish it was this coming week instead!!yesterday i had to walk with a cane nearly the whole day! i woke up with another new pain and it was unbearable in my left leg. THANK GOD i am not dealing with any pain issues with my right leg!! whew!

we still took the kids to a valentines party tho,cause they were looking forward to it. they had a good time,aside from some crankies the boys had.

while we were there heather told me she saw a real pretty cane at CVS that was pink and white with roses! i told her it sounded awesome and i was gonna try to get it. i was using a cane my mom had-who knows how long she has had it? its handle is a brass duckhead and the canes tip is very small so it doesn’t offer much stability for my size. plus the handle was loose and i was afraid it would pop off while i was using it. not a happy thought!

well,we got home and nadia was helping get the littles to bed.heather called me and asked if she could run by to drop something off.i said sure!

you know what is next right?? lol she went and bought me the cane!!! so totally cool of her! she gave it to me and said happy birthday!! AWWWW

it is SO much nicer,not to mention safer!! it even has a cushy handle.i have totally broken it in already. *sigh* maybe i will wake up and this new pain will be gone. that would be nice! cause if it is here to stay,i’ve no idea how i will manage the next 10 days.it is very difficult,especially with erika!

but at least i have a sassy new cane now!
