I really don't like these flu shots and vaccinations. Some I agree with. Some I don't. I've even had forced vaccination in Brazil or they weren't going to let me out of the country. In that case I sure didn't want that disease and should have had the shot before I went. Lesson learned. But these flu shots are a different story. You need to get sick to get stronger. That's how an immune system works. Just like a broken bone knits twice as hard. We are far to worried about getting sick all the time.
"60 percent opt not to get vaccinated despite proximity to virus."
The article is definitely pro-vaccination and it is so interesting to note that it goes on to say:
"The nonprofit group educates the public and health care industry about the causes, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases. It gets about 75 percent of its budget from major vaccine makers, but executive director Len Novick said the money comes with no strings attached."
Yet another case of an 'NGO' supposedly 'educating' the public with their corporately biased views. So many people have no idea how much control these NGO's have. There is a lot of money to drive their propoganda which is mainly fear. Take our flu shot, or you'll die of some bird flu or another.
Don't health care workers have the right to decide what they inject into their bodies. It's sad how biased this article is. Even when they admit there are few links to health care workers actually spreading the flu to patients, some hospitals make it mandatory.
